Bush, becoming, at that time, the most powerful African-American ever to hold office. A four-star general, Gen. Powell's numerous awards include two Presidential Medals of Freedom and he is the author of his best-selling autobiography, My American Journey.

By definition, sales/solicitations includes solicitation of information, membership, admissions, charges for events, donations, and any funds derived from programs and services rendered or sale of goods.
All on-campus sales/solicitations by registered or chartered student organizations, fraternities, sororities and residence hall governments must be authorized by the Associate Director of the Student Centers for Event Services, Room 103 Trabant University Center, or the Assistant Director of Residence Life for Residence Education. Guidelines for granting or refusing authorization for sales/solicitations are available from the Associate Director of the Student Centers for Event Services. A student organization sales/solicitations form must be completed before the authorization process is finalized.

Arts Under the Stars
Residence Life is putting together a program that is called Arts Under the Stars. There will be performers on The Green from 5:30pm-8:30pm on Oct 23.
There will also be tables for student groups to advertise their group and to run activities. If any RSOs are interested in having a table at Arts Under the Stars please contact:

The UD Greek Nation's 2nd Annual Step-n-Stroll show is Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at the . Thirty-two (32) of UD's fraternities and sororities have combined forces to form 10 step-n-stroll teams that personify the values of the UD Greek Nation; Leadership; Brotherhood; Diversity and Cooperation. Doors open at 5:30pm and show time is at 7:00pm. Tickets are $15 and are on sale at all UD tickets outlets.
