Make a difference in the local community by joining our Volunteer outing to the Food Bank of Delaware. Getting food to Delaware's needy requires hard work from dedicated volunteers. Work with other Blue Hen leaders to sort, package, label, and get food on its way to the people that need it the most. This is sure to be a rewarding experience for everyone! If you answered yes to either of these questions than the "Blue Hen Hotseat" is just for you!
The "Blue Hen Hotseat" is a half hour program on WVUD (usually taped in advance) that can interview you about your RSO and what you have on tap!
If you are interested please contact Kate Seymour at wvudpr@gmail.com. All Ideas are welcome but space is limited so not every pitch will be selected to take part!

Student organizations who want to have an event in which they show a movie can only do so through obtaining public showing rights through a college distributor. Regardless of whether your event has an admission charge or is free; regardless if the event is open or just for invited guests; and regardless of whether or not you own the movie on DVD or VHS, it is a violation of federal copyright law to show a movie on campus without securing the rights. As allies, we will be addressing issues of homophobia and heterosexism in our culture. We will be covering common terms used in the LGBT community and topics such as homophobia, heterosexism, and coming out of the closet. The goal is to work together so that you are more prepared to address LGBT issues that arise within your student organizations and to provide you with some contacts and support to help you along the way.

“Body Worlds” Exhibit at Franklin Institute

In close coordination with a trip leader, you will explore the world of the human body in the acclaimed Body Worlds 2 exhibit. Body Worlds 2 & The Brain presents a broad collection of authentic human specimens, and, for the first time in Philadelphia, a special presentation on the brain. Featuring some of the latest findings in neuroscience on brain development, function and disease, this exhibit will inspire a greater understanding of and respect for the mysterious world of the brain.
