Thursday Oct 22, 2009
As part of three days of events leading up to the October 23 launch of the Delaware Environmental Institute at the University of Delaware, Thursday, October 22, has been designated Student Environmental Sustainability Day. This day includes a student symposium of undergraduate concern for environmental issues.

The organizing team invites undergraduate students to submit a video presentation which has an environmental sustainability focus in our community. Submitted videos will stream in Memorial Hall during the day long activities which will take place on The Green at the University of Delaware campus.

Topics may include issues such as sustainable energy, policy, or any other related aspect that the student would like to address.

Throughout the day, all video entries will be shown; however, only 3 will be selected as finalists. The top 3 groups will receive a $300 scholarship voucher which can be used for books or other student related expenses.

In order to be considered for this event, please email an abstract of your video no more than 250 words to SGA by October 8st, 2009. Video submissions are limited to three people per group.

Videos should be approximately 5 minutes
